We ended up having to fly stand-by from Papeete to Bora Bora. We had airline issues with Air Tahiti Nui, which is a long story. It truly felt like we had our own private beach. The part of the beach outside the glass door felt like our little private beach, because no one sits on it, and few people will walk past it here and there. The sliding glass door opens up completely and makes access to the beach very convenient. The location couldn’t be beat! You can see Mount Otemanu out of the sliding glass doors! When we were there it felt like we were in a dream, or inside a postcard. The villas were very spacious and beautiful. But for them to line up these 2 villas to be next to each other, and be the closest ones to the restaurants on our dates tells me that they really care and go above and beyond. I don’t know how they did it, but they were able to make all these things happen! I’m sure people check in and out on various dates. We had made requests for special bed arrangements, made requests to have the 2 villas be next to each other, and also made request to have our villas to be as close to the restaurants as possible, because my dad has bad knees. The first villa was for my parents, and the other villa was for my family of 4 with 2 kids. We rented 2 beachfront villas, and we had a great time! The staff, led by Mao the front office supervisor, went above and beyond for us.
